Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale

You may have noticed by now but I continue to fall in love with Scottsdale, Arizona over and over again. Although Scottsdale isn’t incredibly close to my home in Nova Scotia, I continue to see it as the perfect destination for a long weekend trip in the sun with friends and family.

I’ll admit, I do have an intense appreciation for the desert but it is more than the abundance of cacti and sand color hues that have me coming back to Scottsdale every year. In fact, it’s neither of those things…but instead the luxe resort options…..and the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is one of those gems I’m referring to!

As we entered the property on our first day, my husband and I were warmly greeted by the resort’s inviting staff. We were then taken on a tour of the property, with the final location being our casita for the next few nights. The architecture and hues of the resort is authentic to the Sonoran Desert and each room on the property has both indoor and outdoor living. Once we settled into our room and we unpacked our belongings for the upcoming weekend, we quickly changed out of our warm Canadian attire and headed to the resort’s bi-level pool.

One thing that has been consistent throughout my life is that I am always happier by the water. Whether it is a beach or a resort pool, I can sit near and never feel the need to leave for hours on end. The pool at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North was no different… fact it was even better! Their pool was two levels, including an adult-only pool, that included access to the most delicious authentic Southwest cuisine and drink options from Saguaro Blossom … say I had a few margarita’s poolside would be an understatement. Eating and drinking poolside wasn’t the only amazing food option on property, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North also has Proof (a menu filled of American comfort classics) and Talavera (a modern Spanish steakhouse).  This is another element of the resort, in addition to the staff, architecture, pool and spa, that made our stay (and hopefully more upcoming stays) perfection!
